The Carpa Show:

The Carpa show, a one-act (w/special request 2-act) collection of their most classic comedy sketches.  It is a potpourri of satire and oral tradition with ChUSMA’s guerilla take-no-prisoners style of teatro.  From the raza-fying “Hispanic Busters” to the Taco Institute of Aztlan; Ranchero Lee’s quebradita moves will show no mercy when it comes down to Coconuts for Pete Wilson, drug-smuggling into our communities, y mucho mucho mas to save Aztlan!  The Carpa show’s versatility and variety continues to make it a popular and fun experience for all in the touring circuit.

The NACO Show:

From the Latin Invasion to cultural commercialization,

The NACO Show is a new multi-media show fusing slides, video, and the best in rasquachi sketch comedy.  With spoofs on characters such as Christina Aguilera, Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Martin, this show brings back the contemporary satire that ChUSMA is known for.  Con la Lucha libre y el Baile de Viejitos (Dance of the Elders) a la ChUSMA we see La MUJER and migrant workers battle it out with Violence, la Muerte, and cowardly border vigilantes.  With this Chicano/Latino/"His"-panic all-star line-up who knows, maybe even la LLORONA will make a cameo appearance.

There Goes the Neighborhood:

This hilarious 2-act play revolves around Doña Cuca’s apartment complex “Paradise Estates” in the heart of East Los Angeles.  Cuca, the feisty landlord must deal w/collecting the rent from her wacky tenants:  McGruff, the old fart who reminisces when East LA was an all-white neighborhood, Walter, the skateboarding Salvadoran orphan, Juan the fist-waving boycott-everything ultra-activist w/an over-compensating Chicano complex, and Linda, the His-panic republican-peroxide-blonde afraid of her own roots.

“The tenants from There Goes the Neighborhood’ are a far cry from Mr. Roger’s homies.”  LA Times ‘96

“…horrifically funny” LA Weekly ‘96

The Wizard of Aztlan: The Return of Quetzalcoatl (Coming soon):

In this 2-act play a young guerilla leader, disillusioned with her world, journeys on the red road to Aztlan in search of Quetzalcoatl, The Wizard of Aztlan.  She travels with her compañeros: the farmworker, the union organizer, and the coyote.  They find themselves traveling amidst corporate chaos, confusion, and corruption.
